We started Cartico because ecommerce had become too complicated and too expensive. Merchants were paying transaction fees on every sale, fighting confusing dashboards, and getting nickel-and-dimed at every step.

From our home in Iceland, we built Cartico to support local payment providers, the Icelandic language, and the nuances of running a business here — while making it just as capable for global expansion.
